Job Purpose:

We have an exciting opportunity for creators to join our team and be part of the best and brightest in digital product talent. We are looking for a Content Writer to join our editorial team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides and marketing copy.

Job Responsibility

• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
• Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Create and maintain the information architecture

Knowledge/Skills:

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google docx
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Previous work experience is aadded advantage
